Have you suffered long enough with Anxiety or OCD?
Are you ready to take your life back?
Then let’s imagine you…
-
Using each minute of your day in a productive, fulfilling way
-
Feeling confident and comfortable around other people in your life
-
Accomplishing goals you’ve set, rather than watching more time pass
-
AND Finding meaning and joy in all aspects of life
Because, isn’t that what we all want?
BUT when you’re dealing with OCD or severe Anxiety,
-
You live much of your day avoiding possibilities that are mainly based in fear
-
You stop taking risks, stop seeing people, and stop doing things you enjoy
-
Time passes without your goals being met
-
And your life shrinks…
The most natural response to fear and anxiety is to avoid, neutralize, or medicate it – but as you may have found by now, that only makes things worse. Perhaps nothing, no one, or no pill has been able to help you find the relief you crave.
The CBT Center of Southern California is one of the premier OCD and Anxiety Disorders treatment programs in the Los Angeles area. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff offers expert individualized treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)and other Anxiety Disorders.
Our approach is far more than just sitting and talking.
We approach Anxiety and OCD in a very active way, and recommend specific tasks, skills, and exercises to apply between sessions to keep the process of recovery going more fluidly. This is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), treatments that been shown to be very successful in returning people to functionality and a full life. You, too, will take an active part in your treatment: you will learn what anxiety can and cannot do to you, how to gradually challenge the restrictive beliefs you have about yourself and anxiety, and begin to assertively take back your life.
Our tradition of expertise in treating OCD and Anxiety Disorders originates from Dr. Rodney Boone, our Founder and Executive Director, a respected clinician, lecturer, and trainer in this field of practice since the early 1980s.
