Lana Konovalova is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her MA degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Alliant International University in San Diego, CA. Lana’s Clinical experience ranges from working with children and adolescents in an Outpatient Clinic setting in San Diego to a Community Mental Health setting serving adolescents, young adults, and adults with a multitude of challenges with PTSD, Anxiety, Depressive and Mood Disorders, as well as Complex Trauma in Adolescents & young adults transitioning from child-welfare and juvenile-justice systems of care.
Over the past 10 years, Lana’s passion and commitment has been to implement clinical interventions through the use of a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship to improve the lives of youth, young adults and families struggling to manage daily life stressors, challenges around coping with past and present traumatic events, life transitions, a range of disabling Mood Disorders, and a spectrum of Anxiety Disorders. Lana’s primary focus has been in treating individuals who have survived adverse life experiences, including but not limited to, childhood abuse and maltreatment and trauma brought on by various systems (i.e foster-care and juvenile justice system) by utilizing skills rooted in CBT, attachment theory, Motivational Interviewing, and harm-reduction.
Lana believes that the therapeutic alliance which allows one to feel seen, connected and validated, is the foundation of any successful outcome in treatment. She practices in our Glendale office, and can provide teletherapy within the State of California.
