Dr. Brittany Beyerlein earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), at Alliant International University, with a specialized focus in working with children/adolescents, families, and couples. She completed her Predoctoral Internship at UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Child and Adolescent Abuse, Resource, Evaluation Diagnostic and Treatment Center (CAARE Center), and her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) and TIES for Families.
Dr. Beyerlein is certified in providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children with disruptive behaviors, and also has specialized training in a range of other evidenced-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for mood and anxiety disorders (e.g., depression, OCD, social anxiety), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Dr. Beyerlein has a background in family therapy, integrating psychological interventions to address issues within family relationships, as well as experience treating adults coping with traumatic events and survivors of child maltreatment. Dr. Beyerlein also conducts psychological evaluations and testing for children and adults.
