Dr. Brittany Beyerlein earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), at Alliant International University, with a specialized focus in working with children/adolescents, families, and couples. She completed her Predoctoral Internship at UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Child and Adolescent Abuse, Resource, Evaluation Diagnostic and Treatment Center (CAARE Center), and her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) and TIES for Families.
Dr. Beyerlein has specialized training in evidenced-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for mood and anxiety disorders (e.g., depression, OCD, social anxiety), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children with disruptive behaviors. In addition, Dr. Beyerlein has a background in family therapy, integrating psychological interventions to address issues within family relationships. In addition to treating children and adolescents, Dr. Beyerlein has experience treating adults coping with traumatic events and survivors of child maltreatment. Dr. Beyerlein also conducts psychological evaluations and testing for children and adults.
