Dr. Broderick Leaks discusses Psychology, Spirituality, and Intersectionality at Westwood UMC

Last month, Dr. Broderick Leaks was invited to speak as a subject matter expert at Westwood United Methodist Church’s The Loft. Dr. Leaks engaged with the audience about:

1) Why we often tend to use ineffective coping habits and how to incorporate healthier skills,
2) Culture, intersectionality, and ways that individuals of color have attempted to survive in dehumanizing contexts, and
3) How to integrate, if desired, a healthy relationship between spirituality and psychology.
