Dr. Broderick Leaks Moderates 2024 Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Science Seminar “Facing Our Mental Health Crisis”
Dr. Broderick Leaks recently moderated a panel discussion on Mental Health concerns for the Sloan Foundation Seminar at USC Cinematic Arts. The seminar, entitled “Facing our Mental Health Crisis” addressed topics such as Chronic Stress, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Depression, Loneliness/Isolation, Suicidality, Climate Change, and new treatments in psychotherapy.
Dr. Broderick Leaks is the Vice Chair for Student Mental Health in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Director of Counseling and Mental Health, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Keck School of Medicine of USC.
He was joined by co-discussants Shri Narayanan and Rael Cahn.
Shri Narayanan is the Niki and Max Nikias Chair in Engineering and a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Linguistics, Psychology, Pediatrics, and Otolaryngology.
