Dr. Martin Hsia presents on addressing barriers to mental health services for Asian Americans

On the weekend of June 16-18, CBT SoCal’s Martin Hsia attended the first ever Progressive Asian American Christian (PAAC) Conference in San Francisco. The conference addressed issues such as racism, gender and sexism, LGBTQ support and inclusion, mental health, social justice, and historical theology as they relate to the Asian American community. Dr. Hsia joined fellow Psychologist Dr. Liz Lin to give a presentation on barriers to addressing mental health issues for Asian Americans and more specifically how churches and religious groups can collaborate in that endeavor.
