Philosophy of Treatment
Mood and Anxiety disorders are highly treatable. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic approach to treating mood and anxiety – related disorders that has been extensively research-validated. In our individual and group treatments, we utilize specialized CBT treatment methods that are tailored for the particular disorder.
The CBT Center of Southern California is a supportive place to help you to identify the thoughts and behaviors that keep you stuck, a space for you to test the helpfulness and accuracy of these beliefs and behaviors, and a program to help you learn new skills to achieve the goals that you want (i.e., more meaningful relationships, feeling more confident, etc.).
In consultation with you, we will design the most effective and cost-efficient treatment plan for your specific needs. Our approach is very active, focused and structured to help you to understand and master your problem as quickly as possible.
