Alexsandra Ramos is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #121788) who helps children, teens, and their families thrive and successfully meet their personal goals. She has worked extensively in elementary, middle school, high school, and college settings in supporting the mental health needs of student populations, including work with international and recently immigrated students. Alexsandra is skilled at treating students experiencing depression and anxiety related to family discord, societal and academic pressures, and other mental health challenges.
Alexsandra counseled neurodiverse youth and adults, including individuals diagnosed on the Autistic Spectrum, integrating holistic and behavioral approaches. Her emphasis is on Cognitive Behavior Therapy, social skills training, and concrete solutions for desired change.
After earning a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from Palo Alto University, she counseled children and parents to best coordinate home and school settings using a range of behavior management models and strategies. Alexsandra is passionate about providing children, adolescents, and families tools to improve emotional, social, and academic functioning.
